I believe creativity has the power to transform businesses and change culture. For 5 years I led the transformation of Bodyform / Libresse brand,, helping grow it from a business of $400m to $!bn+, and changing the way periods are represented. Recognised by 5 Grand Prix and 3 back-to-back Titanium Lions at Cannes. 4 Black Pencils inc Craft Pencil of the Decade at D&AD. Best in Show and 7 Grands Prix at the One Show. And over 30 other Grands Prix around the world in everything from Integrated, Film, Digital, Use of Data, Craft, Creative Strategy and Creative Effectiveness.
I believe creativity comes from diverse voices. At T&Pm I coached a brilliantly diverse and inclusive team to the £1m Channel 4 Diversity in Advertising prize for E45. I started a creative academy at AMV BBDO to draw in a more diverse talent pool. In 2018 my efforts were recognised by Management Today, naming me and my partner Jim alongside FTSE 100 CEOs as 'Agents of Change' for workplace equality.
I believe creativity is a force for good in the world. I have consistently embraced social causes and brand purpose in my work. I have worked across sustainability, LGBTQIA+ rights, mental health, disability and children’s charities. My proudest achievement is the Cannes LIons UN Health Grand Prix, for Addresspollution, which linked air pollution data to house prices, and leveraged. the force of the £1trn London Property market to create change. Done for a tiny activist charity with £0.
I believe creativity comes from a spring of restless curiosity. I have worked at some of the best agencies in the world - BBH London when it was Campaign’s AOTY 4 years in a row, W&K London during the 2012 Olympics, helping AMV BBDO to AOTY at Cannes. But I am always looking for the next idea, the next way of expressing it, the next opportunity to bringing more creativity into the world.
